Jeff Pollard is a mental and public health advocate who works tirelessly to end the stigma surrounding the cause of both mental illness and addiction in his communities. His work with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Maryland in coordinating community events, outreach affairs, and advocacy is only a piece of his work to fulfill his personal mission of “making the world a better place.”

 

His work also includes serving on the boards of Rage Against Addiction and New Day Wellness and Recovery, both located in Harford County, Maryland. His experience of being the “boots on the ground”, working as a Child PRP Counselor in Metropolitan Baltimore and as a Legislative Aide in Annapolis for the State Senate have shaped his professionalism for today.
