Get to know the people behind Rage Against Addiction.Sarah Hoover / Michael Nesline
Rage Club was inspired by their need to heal from their own personal loss
Sarah Hoover and her son Michael Nesline joined the Rage Against Addiction team after the loss of Michael’s father Ryan on January 20, 2017. Together they formed Rage Club in an attempt to help other kids learn to deal with their feelings and to understand the confusing disease of addiction. This program is specifically for children who have been impacted by the chaos of addiction and offers therapeutic and enjoyable gatherings several times a year. Sarah coordinates Rage Club meetings and volunteers at Rage events, and Michael proudly serves as the club mascot. He is The Lion of Courage.
Sarah and Michael live in Harford County, Maryland. Sarah graduated from Fallston High School in 2001, and currently works in Forest Hill, MD. They like to spend time at their family cabin where they can go tubing, fishing, swimming, jet skiing, and kayaking. Michael enjoys playing soccer and lacrosse.
