Newsletter – April 2019

Dear Friends,
A lot has happened since our last newsletter!

We do apologize.

We have been working on some new things to help support all of Rage Against Addiction’s missions and objectives.

As you may know, last November 2018, Daughter’s House officially opened.

We are working to get some stories of transformation.

In March, we posted three unique stories of recovery on the website. Read about Kat, Lydia and Mike’s individual recovery stories.

In April, we held our 4th Memory Walk / Recovery Run. Hundreds of families and friends gathered at Cedar Lane Park in Bel Air, Maryland on what turned out to be a beautiful Saturday morning!

Various resources came out to share their knowledge and support services, such as Families Anonymous, who meet every Monday evening in the Adult Education Room at St. Margaret Church in Bel Air, MD.

We heard from speakers, including County Executive Barry Glassman, Pastor Greg who led us in prayer and our Keynote Speaker, Brandon Novak, who spoke about his addiction and recovery. We were moved to tears and joy with all the love that we witnessed.

Thank you to all who donated, participated and sponsored this event. Without your support none of this would be possible!
